Projects are the foundation of 200Notes. They help you organize your work, collaborate with your team, and keep related notes and tasks together in one place.

What are Projects?

A project in 200Notes is a container that holds all related work for a specific initiative, client, or area of focus. Each project includes:

  • Notes - Documentation, meeting notes, ideas, and research
  • Tasks - Action items, to-dos, and project milestones
  • Team Members - Collaborators with different permission levels
  • Settings - Project configuration and access controls

Creating Projects

New Project Setup

To create a new project:

  1. Click "New Project" - From your dashboard
  2. Enter project name - Choose a descriptive name
  3. Add description - Optional but recommended
  4. Choose visibility - Private or Team
  5. Create Project - Click to create your project

Naming Best Practices

Choose project names that are:

  • Descriptive and clear
